Punishing methods such as lashing, decapitation, cutting off organs and stoning are commonly used in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan (……) where the Sharia laws are
valid.Homosexuality is considered a capital punishment crime in Iran.

According to an Amnesty International 2007 report, the countries leading in use of death penalty are: China (470) Iran (317) Saudi Arabia (135).
